The Ministry of Justice, Equality and Consumer Protection Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is a supreme state authority based in Schwerin. It is responsible for the administration of justice, the promotion of gender equality, and consumer protection in the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The ministry develops laws and regulations, monitors their application in courts and authorities, advises the state government on all justice, equality, and consumer protection policy matters, and represents the state in relevant committees at the federal and state levels.
