Ministerium für Wirtschaft, Tourismus, Landwirtschaft und Forsten des Landes Sachsen-Anhalt

The Ministry of Economy, Tourism, Agriculture and Forestry of the State of Saxony-Anhalt is the highest state authority responsible for the political management and promotion of economic and tourism development as well as agriculture and forestry in Saxony-Anhalt. It develops and implements programs and funding instruments aimed at strengthening regional value creation, promoting innovation, and balancing ecological and economic aspects. In doing so, the Ministry coordinates legal frameworks, calls for proposals, and cross-state cooperation.

The ministry is committed to sustainable and future-oriented development of the economy, tourism, as well as agriculture and forestry. The goal is to enhance the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises, strengthen rural areas, promote sustainable tourism concepts, and simultaneously protect natural resources. Through targeted funding measures, balanced growth is to be achieved and the quality of life in Saxony-Anhalt improved.

The funding programs are aimed at companies of all sizes, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises in the fields of business and tourism, as well as farmers and forestry enterprises in the state of Saxony-Anhalt. Other target groups include municipalities, associations and organizations, research institutes, and networks that carry out projects related to regional development, innovation, or sustainable resource use.
