The Ministry of Science, Research and Culture of the State of Brandenburg (MWFK) is the highest administrative authority of the State of Brandenburg for the fields of science, research, cultural education, and cultural institutions. It sets political and strategic priorities to strengthen the scientific landscape, promote research institutions, and preserve the cultural heritage in Brandenburg. Its responsibilities include financing university and non-university research, supporting art and culture, as well as promoting cultural projects and institutions throughout Brandenburg.
