About the funder
The Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts Baden-Württemberg is the highest state authority in Baden-Württemberg responsible for higher education policy, science promotion, and cultural funding. It develops and manages funding programs for universities, universities of applied sciences, non-university research institutions, as well as artists. Furthermore, the MWK is responsible for the framework conditions for study and teaching, equality, the digitalization of universities, and the infrastructure of research institutions. With a broad portfolio of thematic calls, structural funding measures, and awards, the Ministry strengthens the state's international competitiveness and innovation capacity.
