About the funder
The "Living and Housing Together" Foundation was recognized in 2007 by the Hamburg Justice Authority and is supported by the Hamburg Housing Association of 1902 eG. Its goal is to strengthen neighborly coexistence in Hamburg’s residential neighborhoods. It promotes projects in elderly care, child, youth, and disability services, sports, adult education, international understanding, as well as cultural and charitable purposes. The foundation achieves this through monetary and in-kind donations, provision of premises, organization of excursions, informational seminars, cultural events, and cooperation with public and non-profit organizations.

Mission & Vision
The "Living and Housing Together" Foundation is committed to promoting social contacts and a sense of community in Hamburg's residential neighborhoods. Through targeted funding and initiatives, it aims to bring together people of all ages and backgrounds, counteract loneliness, and strengthen lived neighborhood connections.
Target groups
The funding programs and projects are aimed at all residents of Hamburg's neighborhoods – in particular seniors, families with children, young people, people with disabilities, as well as local nonprofit initiatives and associations. Both individuals and groups or institutions that wish to support neighborhood cohesion, cultural encounters, and intergenerational activities are eligible for funding.
