Mission & Vision
MDM aims to strengthen the media and film industry in Central Germany, promote cultural diversity, and support innovative audiovisual projects. Through transparent funding procedures, individual consultation, and regional networking, it seeks to provide creatives with a platform and highlight regional potential.
Target groups
The target group of MDM comprises filmmakers, producers, and media professionals from Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, and Thuringia. Funding is provided to individuals and companies that advance script development, realize project and film productions, or intend to invest in distribution, sales, and new media, thereby creating creative, culturally relevant, or innovative content.
