MBG Hamburg strengthens the equity base of companies, improves their creditworthiness and rating, and expands their financing scope. In doing so, we operate competitively neutral and non-profit-oriented, aiming to contribute as a reliable partner to strengthening Hamburg's economic strength and preserving entrepreneurial independence.
Target groups
The funding programs of MBG Hamburg are aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises with their registered office or principal place of business in the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. This includes founders, start-ups, technology-oriented companies, successors in business takeovers, and family-run medium-sized enterprises. Special emphasis is placed on innovative, scalable business models (e.g., digital, ecological, social), companies oriented towards the common good, as well as those that have received innovation funding or won innovation awards within the last 36 months. Typically, the target companies have group revenues of up to EUR 75 million per year.
