The Mittelständische Beteiligungsgesellschaft Mecklenburg-Vorpommern mbH (MBG MV) has been operating as a regional financing partner for small and medium-sized enterprises since 1993. It participates through silent and open equity investments in small and medium-sized companies in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern to stabilize their market position and realize growth initiatives. With individually tailored programs such as MV classic, MV innoSTARTvc, MV innoPRO, MV innoGROWTH, and MV Mikromezzanin III, it supports start-ups as well as innovation and expansion projects. In close cooperation with the state, EU funding programs, and the guarantee bank, MBG MV offers long-term planning security and thus contributes to strengthening the regional economy.

Our mission is to strengthen the regional SME sector in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern through equity capital and to drive innovation forward. The funding programs of MBG MV are aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with headquarters or business premises in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, as well as at start-ups and part-time founders. The focus is on technology-oriented and innovative start-ups, growth-oriented companies in early and later stages (R&D, market entry, expansion), as well as socially and environmentally oriented business ideas. Business successions are also supported through tailored financing solutions.
