About the funder
The MMK Foundation was established in 2011 with the aim of sustainably supporting and promoting the work of the Museum of Modern Art Frankfurt am Main. Since the extensive activities of the MUSEUMMMK can only be maintained and further developed with additional financial resources, the foundation collects donations and endowments to enable projects in the areas of museum expansion, cultural education, collection presentation, restoration, and research. As a non-profit foundation under civil law based in Frankfurt am Main, it is authorized to issue donation receipts.

Mission & Vision
The MMK Foundation is committed to securing the future of the MUSEUMMMK in the long term by financially supporting innovative projects and renewal measures. Its mission is to promote education, research, and the preservation of collections, to establish the TOWERMMK as a young branch, and to reach a broad audience through cultural educational programs.
Target groups
The funding programs of the MMK Foundation are aimed at the MUSEUMMMK and its branch TOWERMMK, schools and educational institutions (for school sponsorships and art education programs), restoration and research institutions (for collection presentations and scientific projects), as well as private individuals, companies, and donors who wish to invest in current and long-term projects of the museum with tax benefits.
