Mission & Vision

It addresses the major challenges of the world – population growth, globalization, dwindling resources, environmental pollution, and climate change – and, together with partners, seeks socially just, economically efficient, and ecologically sustainable solutions.
Target groups
Funding is provided to research institutions, civil society organizations, and international initiatives that focus on climate adaptation, inclusive insurance, and climate protection. The geographical focus is on developing and emerging countries; projects must have a clear connection to global risks and population development.
