NABU-Stiftung Oldenburgisches Naturerbe – Stiftung zur Förderung des Natur-, Arten- und Tierschutzes

The NABU Foundation Oldenburg Natural Heritage is dedicated to the permanent preservation of nature in the Oldenburg region. It relies on the long-standing professional expertise of the district association of the Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union (NABU) and uses income from its endowment to specifically support projects for nature, species, and animal protection in the region. Administrative costs are kept minimal by voluntarily engaged board members, ensuring that the funding amounts have the greatest possible impact. Supported measures include protection efforts for common swifts, insect and butterfly conservation projects, as well as consultation days for insect gardens.

The NABU Foundation Oldenburg Natural Heritage has made it its mission to preserve biodiversity and habitats in the Oldenburg region for present and future generations. Through sustainable management of the foundation’s assets and the involvement of regional NABU volunteers, we promote effective nature conservation projects and ensure their long-term continuation.
