About the funder
The Nader Etmenan Foundation is a legally recognized civil law foundation established in Hamburg in 2015 with the aim of supporting people in distress and providing them with prospects for a self-determined, fulfilling life. It funds projects in the areas of integration and diversity, protection and support, as well as social engagement – both in Germany and internationally. Beneficiaries include refugees, people with migration backgrounds, children, adolescents, seniors, as well as victims of war, natural disasters, or other life crises. The foundation implements its own projects and awards funding to partner organizations.

Mission & Vision
The Nader Etmenan Foundation is committed to realizing a society characterized by mutual assistance, harmony, cultural diversity, tolerance, and equal opportunities. Under the motto "Take action instead of looking away!" it supports individuals who are willing to actively shape their life paths, guided by the values of openness, commitment, and solidarity. It combines its own programs with the support of external initiatives to achieve sustainable impact.
Target groups
The funding programs of the Nader Etmenan Foundation are aimed at disadvantaged people in Germany and abroad. This particularly includes refugees and migrants, children and young people from precarious backgrounds, seniors, war or disaster victims, as well as people with disabilities.
