Mission & Vision
The Innovation Promotion Hessen aims to strengthen excellent research and development in Hessen and to expand cooperation between science and industry. It supports technology-neutral projects with high risk and high innovation potential to accelerate the market readiness of marketable products, processes, and services, thereby sustainably promoting Hessen as a location for science and business.
Target groups
The target group consists of Hessian collaborative projects, comprising at least one independent small or medium-sized enterprise (SME) as well as at least one university or non-university research institution in Hesse. Additional partners may include engineering firms, freelance professionals, family-run companies with up to 1,000 employees, public law corporations, and non-profit organizations. Furthermore, universities of applied sciences, universities, and research institutions in Hesse are eligible to apply.
