Mission & Vision

The Nature Conservation Foundation of the Emsland District actively promotes the protection and restoration of nature and landscape in the Emsland region. Our goal is to initiate sustainable conservation projects through our own initiatives and the allocation of funding, securing habitats and enhancing biodiversity. We work in partnership with municipalities, associations, clubs, and private initiatives to jointly make a meaningful contribution to regional environmental and climate protection.

Target groups

The funding programs and projects of the Nature Conservation Foundation of the Emsland District are aimed at municipalities within the Emsland district, local clubs and associations, as well as private project sponsors and citizens in Emsland. Support is provided particularly for initiatives that are ecologically meaningful in close coordination with regional partners and that strengthen public awareness of the value of the native natural environment.
