About the funder

The Lower Saxony State Office for Social Affairs, Youth and Family (LS) is a subordinate authority of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Labour, Health and Equality of the State of Lower Saxony. As a central specialist authority, it implements social policy directives across the state, develops funding programs, and ensures supervision of social institutions. This includes, among other things, services and support measures for families, children and youth, assistance for people with disabilities, those in need of care, and seniors, as well as the support of voluntary initiatives.
