About the funder
The Nightline Foundation is a consumer foundation established in 2017 by the Förderinitiative Nightlines Deutschland e.V. As a legally recognized foundation, it supports the work of the Förderinitiative through annual disbursements to strengthen the Nightline network in the German-speaking region. The foundation capital is designed to be spent over 11 years according to defined rules, but it can be permanently preserved through additional endowments.

Mission & Vision
The Nightline Foundation supports the charitable work of Nightlines by providing students with an anonymous listening service. It is committed to further empowering volunteer students in assisting with academic matters and realizing the Nightline vision of a digitally and personally accessible contact point for psychological and social concerns.
Target groups
The target group of the Nightline Foundation includes students and student Nightline initiatives in the German-speaking region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). Funding is provided for both existing Nightlines and new establishments that offer students anonymous telephone, email, or chat counseling, as well as the support initiative Nightlines Deutschland e.V. itself.
