About the funder
The Nikolaus Foundation for Children and Youth in Siegburg was established in 2004 by the Keller entrepreneurial family and pursues exclusively charitable purposes. Since then, it has supported projects beyond statutory regular funding in the areas of child and youth welfare, child and youth care, and the integration of migrants. Funding is provided directly to the implementing institutions (e.g., youth associations, social services, libraries, schools) to sustainably improve the lives of young people in Siegburg.

Mission & Vision
The Nikolaus Foundation is committed to the targeted support of children and young people in the district town of Siegburg. Our goal is to support institutions and projects that go beyond the mandatory tasks of the municipality and to strengthen children and young people – regardless of their background – in their personal and social development.
Target groups
The funding programs are aimed at children and young people in Siegburg, as well as at organizations and institutions involved in child and youth welfare, daycare, schools, and extracurricular providers. Particular focus is placed on projects for language promotion, integration of young people with a migration background, cultural and recreational activities, prevention projects, and institutions that offer disadvantaged young people sustainable educational and developmental opportunities.
