Nonnweiler (Hunnenring Keltensiedlung)
About the funder
The Otzenhausen Celtic Park is operated by the municipality of Nonnweiler (Tourist Information/Cultural Office) and complements the outstanding Celtic fortification "Hunnenring" at Dollberg. The park consists of an authentic replica of a Celtic village with residential, craft, and storage buildings. Ongoing excavations, regular guided tours, workshops, and archaeological seminars make the "Hunnenring" site a center for education, tourism, and research. An open-air arena for events has been created at the entrance area. The goal is to make the cultural history of the Iron Age tangible and to establish the National Park Gate Celtic Park as the gateway to the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park.
