The Austrian Hotel and Tourism Bank GmbH (OeHT) is a sector-specific funding and financing institution for the tourism and leisure industry in Austria. Acting both as a funding agency on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economy, Energy and Tourism (BMWET) and as a bank, it offers tailored financing solutions and complements every loan product with federally subsidized interest rates, liability assumptions, or cash grants. Owned by Oesterreichische Kontrollbank AG (OeKB), RBI, and several Raiffeisen regional banks, OeHT has been a reliable partner for small and medium-sized enterprises for over 75 years and additionally serves as a European network partner and intermediary funding agency for ERDF programs.

Mission & Vision
We promote enthusiasm for modern and responsible tourism – for this, we are the primary point of contact in Austria. Our goal is to strengthen the tourism and leisure industry through long-term low-interest, stable financing and targeted federal funding services, as well as to realize sustainable and innovative investment projects.
Target groups
The OeHT directs its funding and financing offers to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the tourism and leisure industry throughout Austria. Eligible applicants include businesses such as hotels, gastronomy establishments, leisure facilities, operators of snowmaking or employee accommodations, as well as founders and successors within the first three years of operation. Membership in the Austrian Economic Chamber, business locations in Austria, and a sustainable business concept are prerequisites.
