The Offenburger Bürgerstiftung St. Andreas is a non-profit foundation that sees itself as a local community of solidarity from citizens for citizens. Mission & Vision

Our mission is to sustainably strengthen social cohesion in Offenburg and to promote forward-looking projects characterized by outstanding voluntary commitment. We believe in the power of citizens to take responsibility together and provide initiatives with financial start-up aid and long-term support so that they can develop into exemplary models for the entire urban community.

Target groups

Funding is provided to individuals, groups, associations, organizations, and companies that are based or reside in Offenburg. A prerequisite is outstanding civic engagement that offers help for self-help, serves as a role model, and provides impetus to the Offenburg community. Special funding areas include intercultural projects for integration, youth and gifted education support, as well as individuals in exceptional hardship.
