Paul und Mia Herzog-Stiftung
About the funder
The Paul and Mia Herzog Foundation is a non-profit grant-making foundation established in 2003, located on the former company premises of Paul Herzog Steel and Metal Construction in Düsseldorf-Oberbilk. After the death of Maria Herzog in 2006, she transferred her entire private estate to the foundation, which has since supported local institutions in the fields of child, youth, and elderly care. The foundation selectively chooses projects and institutions in the Düsseldorf-Oberbilk district and funds initiatives that benefit children, young people, and the elderly. Among the supported projects are the Düsseldorf Youth Employment Assistance, social skills programs such as "Mut tut gut," support services for the elderly (Herzwerk), as well as educational and cultural projects at schools.
