Paula Müller-Kinderhilfe-Stiftung

Private foundation

About the funder

The Paula Müller Children's Aid Foundation was established in 1995 following the death of the founder Paula Müller and is dedicated to early childhood development in the greater Frankfurt/Rhine-Main area. It supports non-profit daycare centers, after-school care facilities, children's homes, and cultural institutions for children aged 1 to 10 years. Institutions that care for children and adolescents with physical, mental, or emotional disabilities also receive funding. In special cases, the foundation may provide financial assistance to individual children and their families, provided they are recommended by a non-profit institution. Since 2012, the foundation has been managed by Anja Klug and Dr. Andreas Klug on the board and supported by a five-member advisory council. The Paula Müller Children's Aid Foundation is a member of the Association of German Foundations.

Mission & Vision

Musical, athletic, and intellectual stimulation pave the way to a fulfilling and successful life in our society. The Paula Müller-Kinderhilfe Foundation is therefore primarily dedicated to early childhood development in Frankfurt and the greater Rhine-Main area. A prerequisite for funding is the non-profit status of the applying institution as well as adherence to the age limit of 1 to 10 years. We aim to provide children with the best possible start—especially where their environment alone cannot ensure this.

Target groups

Our funding is aimed at non-profit institutions such as kindergartens, day nurseries, after-school care centers, children's homes, and cultural institutions (museums, theaters) in the greater Frankfurt/Rhein-Main area that offer specialized programs for children aged 1 to 10 years. We also support institutions for children and adolescents with physical, mental, or emotional disabilities. In exceptional cases, we provide assistance to individual children and their families in financial distress, provided they are recommended by a qualifying non-profit institution.
