Peter Jensen-Stiftung
About the funder
The PETER JENSEN Foundation is a truly Hanseatic foundation, deriving its assets from the profits of PETER JENSEN GmbH – a North German wholesale company specializing in sanitary, heating, stove construction, and kitchens. Since its inception, the foundation has been committed to social projects, school projects, and craft projects. It particularly supports small social organizations and initiatives that provide immediate assistance in acute emergencies, such as combating child poverty, promoting learning support, hospices, women's shelters, food banks, and homeless aid. Furthermore, it supports vocational students in the sanitary, heating, and air conditioning (SHK) trades with targeted educational programs.

Mission & Vision
Our foundation's work can be summed up in six letters: DOING. We are committed to doing good together—especially where help is needed most. Through targeted funding programs for social institutions, schools, and vocational training projects, we aim to create positive, sustainable change and open up new perspectives.
Target groups
The PETER JENSEN Foundation primarily supports small and medium-sized social organizations as well as educational and craft initiatives in Northern Germany. Target groups include children and adolescents living in poverty or with disabilities, families in need, people with serious illnesses, homeless individuals, refugees, and women in women's shelters. In addition, there is a special funding program aimed at SHK vocational students and schools to support trainees in their theoretical and practical learning processes.
