School Projects (Peter Jensen Foundation)

The Peter Jensen Foundation supports general education schools nationwide with the aim of sustainably assisting young people in their career orientation. Funding is provided for the establishment of professionally equipped career orientation offices that serve as central contact points for students. Additionally, training modules and advanced educational offerings are financed to strengthen skills and highlight opportunities. Through the combination of information, counseling, and practical workshops, the individual strengths of participants are promoted, and orientation in choosing vocational training and study programs is facilitated.

All general education schools in Germany are eligible to apply; applications can be submitted at any time, as this is an ongoing funding opportunity. Eligible expenses include the planning and equipment of career orientation offices as well as external experts, trainers, and event formats. Support is provided as a grant, without incurring debt. The funding not only strengthens school infrastructure but also builds a network of teachers, counselors, and external partners. Interested schools can thus expand their career preparation offerings in the long term and provide their learners with a solid basis for decision-making regarding their further education and career paths.
