The Peter and Traudl Engelhorn Foundation is a non-profit private foundation based in Neuried near Munich, which has been supporting young scientists in the life sciences since its establishment in 1993. Target groups
Outstanding early-career researchers in the field of life sciences are supported, particularly postdoctoral researchers at scientific institutes in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The annually awarded research prize is also aimed at young researchers who advance their respective research fields through excellent achievements and innovative contributions.
