About the funder
The PIENSA! Foundation is a non-profit private foundation based in Wiesbaden. Mission & Vision
Experience is the action of tomorrow. The PIENSA! Foundation is committed to ensuring that children, adolescents, and young adults experience and understand nature firsthand. It supports educational programs that combine practical nature experiences with intercultural exchange, aiming to strengthen a responsible coexistence between humans and nature in the long term.
Target groups
The funding activities are aimed at children, adolescents, and young adults, particularly pupils of all school types. The focus is on projects at schools in socially disadvantaged districts of Wiesbaden as well as international voluntary services in Central and South America. The goal is to raise awareness among young people about nature conservation, biodiversity, and sustainable lifestyles, and to provide them with practical experiences in nature.
