Mission & Vision
The mission of the Dr. E. A. Langner Foundation is to sustainably support young, culture- and music-oriented talents in Hamburg by specifically initiating, accompanying, and providing seed or ongoing funding for projects. We believe in the transformative power of music and culture and contribute to the creation of innovative educational opportunities as well as public platforms for artistic development.
Target groups
The funding programs are primarily aimed at young jazz musicians residing in Hamburg, especially students and graduates of the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre. In addition, non-profit organizations, associations, or foundations may submit applications for needs-based music, cultural, and social projects, including those with an international focus.
