About the funder
The Regional Foundation of the Landessparkasse zu Oldenburg (LzO) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting a wide range of projects in the Oldenburg-Ammerland region. Since its inception, the foundation has supported over 1,000 projects in various charitable fields, including youth welfare, science, culture, animal and nature conservation. The foundation works closely with external specialists to accompany projects from the initial idea through to realization and ongoing management. It offers tax benefits for founders and donors and promotes projects that have a sustainable impact on the region.

Mission & Vision
Doing good feels good. The foundation enables individual commitment and supports donors from the initial idea through to permanent management. It seeks projects with model and exemplary functions that strengthen social responsibility and civic engagement, while providing sustainable benefits to the regional population.
Target groups
Eligible to apply are institutions and associations within the business area of Landessparkasse zu Oldenburg (districts of Friesland, Ammerland, Cloppenburg, Wesermarsch, Vechta, Wilhelmshaven, Oldenburg, and Delmenhorst) with a non-profit orientation. Prerequisites include appropriate own funds and a project not yet started that has high regional significance. Private individuals and political groups are not eligible to apply.
