Mission & Vision
The mission of the Reinhard-Süring-Stiftung is to promote science and research in the fields of meteorology and climatology. In particular, the foundation aims to support environmentally relevant further education of early-career scientists through travel grants, awards for outstanding work, and other funding measures, in order to make a long-term contribution to the understanding and protection of our climate.
Target groups
The funding programs are aimed at early-career scientists in meteorology and climatology. Support is provided to graduates, doctoral candidates, and young researchers who participate in specialist conferences, field experiments, partner institutes, or in the analysis of climatological data.
