Reinhold Beitlich Stiftung

Private foundation

About the funder

The Reinhold Beitlich Foundation was established in 1983 by Gertrud and Reinhold Beitlich and is funded annually by the CHT Group. It is organized as a non-profit and aims to promote education and upbringing, youth welfare and youth care, as well as cultural and sporting purposes for children and adolescents. In addition to traditional support measures such as scholarships and grants, the foundation supports research projects, particularly in the fields of chemistry and technology transfer, as well as environmental and nature conservation initiatives. A further focus is on supporting sick or needy children and adolescents, for example through covering treatment costs or financing parental stays at the treatment location.

Mission & Vision

The Reinhold Beitlich Foundation is committed to providing young people with the best possible opportunities for their personal and professional development. We believe that well-educated and dedicated youth shape the future of our society, and therefore support projects in education, science, culture, sports, social affairs, and environmental protection. Our goal is to contribute to the sustainable promotion of the common good through targeted grants and scholarships as well as through the initiation and support of research and aid projects.

Target groups

Funding is directed towards children and adolescents up to the age of majority or until the completion of their education (if applicable, up to 30 years), particularly young people who are eager to learn and perform, as well as sick or needy children and adolescents. Applicants are non-profit organizations, associations, or public-law entities that carry out projects in the funding areas. A special focus is placed on initiatives within the country that promote education, youth welfare, culture, sports, medical care, and research for the defined age group.
