About the funder
In accordance with the legacy of the Leipzig book authors and photographers Renate and Roger Rössing, the Rössing Foundation, as a legally recognized charitable foundation under civil law based in Markkleeberg, promotes art and regional heritage in the Leipzig area. It honors particularly talented writers and photographic artists, annually awards the Rössing Prize to graduates of the Academy of Visual Arts Leipzig, and supports cultural events such as exhibitions, readings, and lectures.

Mission & Vision
