Roland Gräfe Stiftung – Stiftung für Kunst und Kultur

The Roland Gräfe Foundation – Foundation for Art and Culture, based in Dresden/Radebeul, promotes cross-border art and culture, particularly visual arts (painting and graphics). It awards an art prize biennially, supports exhibitions, builds a collection of contemporary art, and conducts projects such as plein air painting and workshops. Additional activities include painting sessions with students, people with disabilities, the elderly or the ill, as well as the preservation of cultural monuments belonging to the foundation. The foundation is purely charitable and ensures that donations and endowments directly benefit the foundation’s objectives.

Promoting art and culture – building bridges. The Roland Gräfe Foundation is committed to strengthening visual arts, fostering the European-neighborhood reconciliation spirit, and supporting non-profit art and cultural projects.

The funding opportunities are aimed at visual artists (especially painters and graphic artists) from Germany and neighboring countries, at non-profit initiators of art and cultural projects, as well as at schools and social institutions (e.g., projects with students, people with disabilities, elderly or ill individuals) who wish to realize cross-border art and cultural projects.
