The Rosa Luxemburg Foundation Brandenburg e.V. is a non-profit state foundation within the association of the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation – Social Analysis and Political Education e.V., serving as a party-affiliated foundation of the party DIE LINKE. Funded by grants from the state of Brandenburg and the umbrella organization, it organizes lectures, seminars, conferences, excursions, and film events on socio-ecological, peace-political, anti-fascist, as well as cultural and educational policy topics. In cooperation with numerous initiatives, associations, and institutions in Brandenburg, it promotes political education and social exchange.

Mission & Vision
In the spirit of Rosa Luxemburg, the RLS Brandenburg strives for an emancipatory, ecological, and democratic socialism. It understands political education as an interplay of theory and practice and promotes a vibrant public culture of discussion. The goal is to encourage people to engage politically and to create spaces for societal debates that transcend party, generational, and organizational boundaries.
Target groups
The offerings of RLS Brandenburg are aimed at politically interested individuals in the state of Brandenburg: from pupils and students to young researchers, authors, and artists, as well as full-time and volunteer activists in civil society initiatives, trade unions, and municipal committees. The target group includes all those who engage with social justice, socio-ecological transformation, antifascist work, peace and internationalism issues, as well as cultural policy topics.
