Rotary-Stiftung Stuttgart

Public foundation

About the funder

The Rotary Foundation Stuttgart was established in 1967 by the then four Stuttgart Rotary Clubs and is a non-profit foundation under civil law. Today, all twelve Stuttgart Rotary Clubs, including the RC Waiblingen, collaborate with the foundation. Unlike the internationally active Rotary Foundation, the Rotary Foundation Stuttgart focuses on its own funding initiatives in the greater Stuttgart area. Financial contributions are certified with tax-deductible donation receipts. Donations are directed towards local projects and, in individual cases, also towards regionally initiated projects by individual clubs or Rotarians.

Mission & Vision

The Rotary Foundation Stuttgart is committed to providing prompt and unbureaucratic assistance to underprivileged, disabled, or acutely distressed individuals in the Stuttgart area. It strives to respond flexibly to current needs within the scope of its statutory possibilities and to establish new funding priorities as required.

Target groups

The funding programs are aimed at people in the Stuttgart metropolitan area who require assistance due to limited mental or physical abilities, economic hardship, or unforeseen crisis situations. This includes unaccompanied young refugees, foreign students at Stuttgart universities, individuals with addictions, palliative care facilities, as well as programs for intercultural understanding.
