About the funder
The RuBi Foundation – Aid for Children and Animals in Need is a legally recognized public foundation under civil law based in Saarbrücken. It was established on September 19, 2019, by Claudia and Ulrich Bies on behalf of Ruth Bies. The foundation supports needy children and adolescents in acute distress as well as animals in need throughout Germany, ensuring their care through financial or material assistance. Furthermore, it supports charitable animal protection associations and educational animal protection projects in kindergartens and schools.

Mission & Vision
Our goal is to provide effective and unbureaucratic assistance on-site to needy children, adolescents, and animals in distress. We believe in sustainable support in line with the motto, "Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime." Through targeted projects and individual case assistance, we aim to inspire other organizations and private individuals to contribute.
Target groups
The funding measures of the RuBi Foundation are aimed at children and adolescents in Germany who require support due to poverty, flight, illness, or family emergencies; animals in need, especially those of financially constrained owners as well as rescue centers, animal shelters, and educational animal protection initiatives; as well as non-profit organizations and associations that carry out child aid and animal protection projects or offer animal-assisted educational programs.
