Mission & Vision

The Rudolf Jahns Foundation is committed to sustainably anchoring the artistic work of Rudolf Jahns in research and the public sphere. We support exhibitions, documentaries, and publications, promote art historical studies on Jahns' life and work, and offer young scholars the opportunity to implement museum projects through the Rudolf Jahns Fellowship. Our goal is to keep alive the significance of the avant-garde of the interwar period and the constructivist tradition.

Target groups

The funding opportunities of the Rudolf Jahns Foundation are aimed at art historians, journalists, and art educators, as well as museums and exhibition venues wishing to realize projects related to the work or era of Rudolf Jahns. In particular, early-career researchers engaged with Jahns’ oeuvre through exhibitions, publications, or research projects are supported. Applications may be submitted by both institutions and individuals.
