About the funder

Saarländische Investitionskreditbank AG (SIKB) is the development bank of the Saarland, headquartered in the Atrium House of Economic Development in Saarbrücken. As an independent joint-stock company majority-owned by the State of Saarland (51.02%) and Saarland credit institutions (48.98%), it offers companies, freelancers, start-ups, successors, and private builders a wide range of low-interest loans, guarantees, equity participations, and grants. SIKB works closely with KfW, other public funding programs, and regional partners to support investments in innovation, growth, housing, and energy efficiency.
