About the funder
The Schleswig-Holstein State Library is the central state library of the state of Schleswig-Holstein. It is subordinate to the Ministry of General and Vocational Education, Science, Research and Culture and is located in Kiel. Its main tasks are the collection, cataloging, and long-term preservation of literature and media relevant to regional history, culture, and research. In addition, it operates a public information and lending service for citizens as well as state institutions and serves as a coordination center for digitization projects and the development of digital infrastructures.
