About the funder
The Senate Department for Mobility, Transport, Climate Protection and Environment (SenMVKU) is a supreme state authority of the State of Berlin, headquartered at Köllnischer Park in Berlin-Mitte. It was established in 2016 under the Müller II Senate and has borne its current name since 2023. The authority is responsible for transport and mobility policy, climate protection, environmental protection, as well as nature and forestry management. Its duties include the management of public transport, promotion of cycling, air quality control, waste management, water protection, and green space planning.

Mission & Vision
Together we make Berlin climate-neutral: safe mobility from A to B, relaxing parks, forests and green spaces, as well as clean air and clean water for all Berliners.
Target groups
Citizens, businesses, commercial enterprises, schools and educational institutions, property owners, as well as traffic and urban planners in Berlin. Projects in the fields of climate protection, environment, mobility, and sustainability with a focus on the state of Berlin are supported.
