Mission & Vision
The SenUMVK is committed to a climate-friendly, resource-conserving, and future-oriented metropolis, in which the rights of consumers are upheld and safe, environmentally compatible forms of mobility are promoted. Its goal is to position Berlin as a pioneer in climate protection, as a model city for sustainable mobility, and as a reliable point of contact for consumer protection.
Target groups
The Senate Department targets its funding programs, advisory, and information services at citizens, companies, associations, and research institutions in Berlin. The recipients are particularly project sponsors in environmental and climate protection, initiatives for traffic calming and bicycle traffic promotion, as well as organizations aiming to strengthen consumer rights and develop sustainable mobility and climate protection concepts.
