SL NaturEnergie Stiftung

The SL NaturEnergie Foundation was established in 2012 by SL NaturEnergie GmbH. The foundation supports a variety of non-profit projects in North Rhine-Westphalia, focusing on social, ecological, sports, and monument preservation areas. The foundation is financed by the revenues from the wind energy plants operated by SL NaturEnergie GmbH. A portion of these revenues is invested in social projects to support the community. The foundation aims to make a positive contribution to society by promoting projects in the fields of child and youth welfare, elderly care, sports, monument preservation, as well as environmental and nature conservation.

The SL NaturEnergie Foundation is committed to promoting projects that have a sustainable and positive impact on society. Its goal is to improve the quality of life in North Rhine-Westphalia by supporting social, ecological, and cultural initiatives. The foundation believes in the importance of renewable energies and their potential to strengthen communities and protect the environment. By funding projects focused on renewable energies and their benefits, the foundation aims to raise awareness of environmentally friendly energy sources and increase acceptance of the energy transition.

The target group of the SL NaturEnergie Foundation includes non-profit organizations and public-law entities, such as associations, schools, or non-profit limited liability companies (gGmbHs), that are active within the operational area of SL NaturEnergie GmbH. The foundation places special emphasis on projects in Gladbeck and supports initiatives focused on child and youth welfare, elderly care, sports, monument preservation, as well as environmental and nature conservation. The funded projects are expected to be innovative, forward-looking, and sustainable in order to have a long-term positive impact on society.
