Sozialstiftung Oberberg

As a legally recognized charitable foundation under civil law, the Sozialstiftung Oberberg pursues social, charitable, and religious purposes directly and exclusively within the Oberberg district. It offers low-threshold contact points and support services for people in need, such as food bank cafés, women's cafés, German language courses, and psychological counseling. Volunteer staff from various sectors are passionately committed to alleviating material and emotional distress and promoting peace between cultures and religions. Furthermore, the foundation organizes exhibitions, counseling services, and rentals to foster encounters and social cohesion.

We assist people in need in the Oberberg district so that they can create a more hopeful and attractive present. Motivated by Christian charity, we support migrants, socially disadvantaged individuals, families, and youth. Under the motto "We inspire goodness!", we promote encounters, counseling, and education to sustainably empower people in need.

The funding programs of the Sozialstiftung Oberberg are aimed at people in need in the Oberberg district – including residents with low income, refugees and migrants, as well as socially disadvantaged individuals, families, youth, and seniors. In addition, local initiatives and associations benefit from the foundation’s spaces and offerings that promote encounters, integration, and cultural exchange.
