The Sparkassen-Kulturstiftung Rheinland is a supraregional cultural foundation established in 1987 on the initiative of the Rhineland savings banks and is based at the Rhineland Savings Banks and Giro Association in Düsseldorf. It supports outstanding art and cultural projects in the Rhineland that significantly shape local cultural life, foster identity, and generate sustainable impact. The foundation actively accompanies projects, offers advice and assistance, and sees itself as a reliable partner for cultural creators.

Mission & Vision
"Without art, everything is nothing": The Sparkassen-Kulturstiftung Rheinland is committed to preserving and further developing the quality and diversity of cultural life in the Rhineland. It supports innovative and compelling art and cultural projects of supraregional significance that strengthen local identity, touch people, and promote the cultural network in the region.
Target groups
Non-profit art and cultural projects from all disciplines are supported – ranging from visual arts to performing arts, music, and literature, as well as cultural history and monument preservation. A prerequisite is support from a local savings bank and the significant importance of the project for the Rhineland cultural region. The foundation targets individuals, initiatives, and institutions with original concepts that enrich and further develop the cultural vitality on site.
