About the funder
The German Savings Banks Foundation for International Cooperation (Deutsche Sparkassenstiftung für internationale Kooperation e.V.) is the development policy institution of the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe. For over 30 years, it has been transferring the successful Sparkasse model to developing and emerging countries, strengthening local financial institutions there. With extensive experience in financial sector development, the foundation promotes sustainable economic practices, financial inclusion, and the establishment of stable structures by implementing practical knowledge, business models, and tailored tools on site.

Mission & Vision
