It supports initiatives in the fields of youth welfare and sports in the Hanseatic City and district of Lüneburg. In the sports sector, the funding priorities focus on mass sports, children’s and youth sports, disabled sports, the acquisition of sports equipment, the improvement of training conditions, and the support of sporting events. In the youth sector, the foundation supports youth work and youth social work as well as projects promoting education within families and in day care.
