About the funder
The Sparkassenstiftung Starkenburg was established in 2000 on the occasion of the opening of the new main branch building of Sparkasse Starkenburg in Heppenheim and the 170th business year. The foundation aims to promote civic engagement, volunteer work, and community spirit. It supports clubs, non-profit institutions, and schools within its area of activity that are dedicated to art and culture, climate protection, education and upbringing, youth and elderly care, local history, charitable causes, or sports. The foundation is active in the cities of Heppenheim, Viernheim, Lindenfels, Hirschhorn, and Neckarsteinach, as well as in the municipalities of Fürth, Mörlenbach, Rimbach, Birkenau, Wald-Michelbach, Grasellenbach, Abtsteinach, and Gorxheimertal.
