About the funder

The Sparkassenstiftungen Zukunft for the city of Rosenheim and the Rosenheim district were established in 2006 by Sparkasse Rosenheim-Bad Aibling. As legally recognized public foundations under civil law with a shared objective, they are committed to the sustainable promotion of projects in the region. With an endowment capital that grows annually through additional contributions from Sparkasse Rosenheim-Bad Aibling and private donors, they finance innovative, sustainable, and forward-looking ideas in areas such as arts and culture, education, youth and elderly care, nature and environmental protection, as well as social aid projects like Aktion Aufwind. The foundations support an average of around 50 projects per year, provide a platform for volunteers, and promote civic engagement to strengthen social participation in the city and district of Rosenheim.

Mission & Vision

The Sparkassenstiftungen Zukunft see themselves as reliable funding partners for the people of the city and district of Rosenheim. Their goal is to realize forward-looking projects from the returns of the foundation capital that promote social participation, cultural diversity, and sustainable development. In doing so, they work in partnership with local initiatives and volunteers and support innovative ideas that make a positive contribution to the common good.

Target groups

Organizations, associations, initiatives, and individuals based in or with a project focus in the city and district of Rosenheim are supported. The target group includes project partners from the fields of arts and culture, education and upbringing, youth and elderly care, environmental and nature conservation, sports, as well as social aid projects. In particular, the foundation strengthens initiatives that promote voluntary engagement, enable social participation for disadvantaged individuals, and develop innovative solutions for regional challenges.
