Mission & Vision

The “St. Georg-Hospital” Foundation is guided by the Christian-humanistic view of humanity. Its guiding principle is that every person, regardless of origin or religious affiliation, possesses an inalienable dignity and is responsible to one another. Under this commitment, the foundation creates safe, secure, and tolerant living environments for elderly and care-dependent individuals, as well as services for care and support in the Delitzsch region.

Target groups

The foundation's services are primarily aimed at elderly people in need of care who require inpatient care and support under the Long-Term Care Insurance Act. In addition, individuals seeking age-appropriate housing, as well as relatives and those seeking assistance who wish to use counseling and outpatient services, benefit from the offerings. External institutions such as daycare centers, childminders, and workshops for people with disabilities are among the users of the kitchen operations and the meal delivery service.
