Staatliche Führungsakademie für Ernährung, Landwirtschaft und Forsten (FüAk)

The State Leadership Academy for Nutrition, Agriculture and Forestry (FüAk) is a middle-level authority within the portfolio of the Bavarian State Ministry for Nutrition, Agriculture and Forestry (StMELF). It assumes central responsibilities in leadership, promotion, and sovereign enforcement, offers numerous services in the areas of information technology, controlling, administration, and personnel, and serves as the central training and further education institution for the ministry's authorities. The FüAk supports the StMELF in managing the Offices for Nutrition, Agriculture and Forestry (ÄELF) and works closely with associations, institutions, and agricultural and forestry enterprises.

With this guiding principle, the FüAk is committed to establishing sustainable standards in consulting, innovation, training and continuing education, as well as funding procedures. It promotes knowledge transfer between science, practice, and administration, supports change processes in agricultural administration, and ensures uniform and legally compliant implementation of agricultural funding in Bavaria.

The offerings and services of the FüAk are aimed at all employees within the remit of the Bavarian State Ministry for Food, Agriculture and Forestry, particularly the Offices for Food, Agriculture and Forestry (ÄELF) and their staff. In addition, partner organizations of the state advisory service, recognized non-governmental consulting firms, agricultural and forestry enterprises, as well as other public and private stakeholders requiring advisory, training and continuing education services, funding programs, or central IT and controlling services are addressed.
