About the funder
The Division 4 – Society, Education, and Law of the City of Villach is a department of the Municipal Directorate and acts as a subsidy-disbursing authority for projects and institutions in the fields of social affairs, education, culture, and diversity. It develops and manages funding guidelines (e.g., the Cultural and Diversity Subsidy Ordinance), concludes subsidy agreements, and conducts ongoing controlling. A key focus is on supporting private early childhood education and care institutions as well as promoting culture and diversity in accordance with the City of Villach’s Basic Subsidy Ordinance.

Division 4 is committed to a social, inclusive, and culturally diverse Villach. It promotes education and social participation for all population groups, supports cultural innovation, and upholds the legal foundations to enable equal opportunities and sustainable urban development.
Target groups
Natural and legal persons (associations, societies, private organizations) based or active in Villach are eligible for funding. Target groups include, among others, operators of private early childhood education and care facilities, cultural and diversity initiatives (e.g., theater, traditional customs preservation, advisory services), as well as projects in the areas of youth, integration, women's promotion, and equal opportunities.
